So this is a pretty chaotic list of stuff I find helpful in regards to YT.
NessDan's YT Thumb downloader This allows you to download any YT thumbnail off the site in your browser, now this is a link to the CHROME web extension shop, but it does exist for other browsers. Just search for 'nessdan youtube download' and it will give you some links. I find it super helpful when I need banners for older videos, or other peoples videos.
MovAvi recorder. I admit it's the best screen/game recorder I ever tried, also the most versatile - but you need to make a subscription and it's just very expensive for what you get. There are free alternatives to what MovAvi does. (I changed my mind about this product, and I really don't appreciate how they do business, and yes it's a good screen recorder, but honestly the 'game bar' recorder that comes with windows does an equally good job, and is free (if you have a windows computer. It does however not change the fact that MovAvi is a good screen recorder, it's just VERY expensive, and stupid hard to cancel your subscription for, which i find borderline scammy)
BeFunky. I use this for thumbnails, and it does have a free version, which basically just won't let you use most of the fancy stuff like filters and the AI tools. But you can resize, crop, and color correct in the free version. You can also save things as 'projects' both on your computer or in the program. I use that option a lot if I have several banners, so in case I need to make a banner more, or change something - I can without having to figure out what I used to make it.
Canva. This is awesome for making intros and outros, I would however not make a longer video with Canva - also there is a free version of Canva, and if you bring your own graphics it's no problem.
Fontspace. This is a place where you can download free (for non commercial use) fonts, and I think it's both better general quality and an easier interface than other places like it.
