I need a drink.

Not sure why I have such rotten luck with games these days. 

I mean I realise that I don't care about 'other peoples opinion' on a game, well not all the time. There are games that I love, like 'the kite', that most people think is shit. and so i always remind myself, that opinions are subjective, they are because you did not have a good time - that doesn't mean that i won't.

sort of like coriander, i love it and could eat it day in and day out - some people hate it so much they feel like having their feelings known through tattoos. 

but the games i played recently, omg... the novelist - that was a snoozefest, shit that was so boring that i had to force myself to finish, in the maybe naive hope that something, anything would happen. it didn't. i set all 3 videos to release on the same day, just because they are so boring that i can't imagine anyone ever looking at them for any reason what so ever. 

the moment i booted up creepy tale, i realised that i actually did play this before, on my tablet - i mean i do play games here on the channel i played before, but i sort of like to know it, and not expecting to see something new. so that was borderline boring too. also it's just not a very good game, i mean it's okay i suppose, but i hate a lot of videogame tropes, such as 'fetch this book for no reason quests' (looking at you morrow wind). and 'run from this monster for 2 hours straight' (looking at you outlast). and probably more i can't remember right now. but I seriously hate - with a vengance - trial and error puzzles where they didn't have to be. i mean half the puzzles in creepy tale, could have had some hints, but nope - you just have to brute force it, which takes out the fun for me, when you gotta do it over and over and over. and then some puzzles (like the platforms) reset and randomize every time. 

panic room: house of secrets was the worst kind of shit game there is, it is one of those app games from the app store that you sorta skip over cause you know they are only about getting money from you (and you too merge dragons), but it is seriously what it is, repetetive shit till you run out of diamonds, and gotta wait a day or buy some. fuck that shit! i uploaded a video just to prove my point, because the items in the rooms are the same over and over, even if your quest is new. 

and then karolina, my schmerzenkind - i really wanted to like it, and i hate to sound like 'its a bug, it's not me who suck' type of person, but i honestly do think it's a bug. because it keeps prompting me to use the boxes, which i can't, and the cop isn't there either. can't make him go to the basement again, and i can't pick up the boxes - so even if it's not a bug, i'd need a better game hint then. i just gave up on it. and hope that the next game is better. 

and a last minute edit, i can tell you that god's basement was not better, dude.. it bugged out on me, i tried to delete and reinstall to start over, and no matter what, i didn't get the que i was supposed to to progress. oh well it is what it is. i just pushed it back in the que, and will try to figure out what the hell is wrong. (and yes i verified the local files too).
