Semper means always in latin, and apparently Servus is a greeting in some German/Bavarian local dialect, it's original meaning was as you can almost deduct from the word [I am your]Servant, but it has transmorphed into a slightly 'proper' way of greeting someone. In regards to the spacecrafts, I can't see any connection to anything - well Cyrano, we know who he was, and that makes no sense to me. And Inviticus means unbeatable (roughly), and well that isn't exactly true either - well unless you chose a specific ending (but admitted they do push that one pretty hard), and then it would hardly be the crew, but more like they were ambasadors for everything human, and humanity.
