Concluse walkthrough

important: it doesn't seem like it makes a difference if you call someone or not, not that I know why. Also it's never explained why your house sitter is angry. I collected 2 green herbs (herb 2 and 3 i think) and I don't know what they are for, don't think they are ever used.

+ there are some extra levels if you take the other boat back to Cordovia (i think that is what the village is called) - but i was SO done with this game so yeah - i just ended it.

THIS GAME IS ACTION TRIGGERED, WHICH MEANS STUFF MIGHT NOT WORK UNLESS YOU DID SOMETHING ELSE FIRST - AND EVERYTHING HAS A STUPID SMALL HITBOX (picking up & using)

TRAINSTATION:

So the beginning is easy enough - pick up the crowbar, and look for the door that is slightly open, since you do not have an inventory, just click E and Michael will use whatever he has that works with whatever you're trying to do.

I am actually not sure what triggers what, so I can only say what I know. So you leave the train, walk up and inspect the locks, and then down the other track. here you can walk down along the stairs on the station and find a key. the moment you do that, the train leaves the station.

you can now jump across those things i forgot what is called, that you have to move through in order to enter the station. (you know those rotating things where you scan your ticket). You are not able to jump them before this.

There is a door in the back, click it to use your key to open. read the note, and take the coin. the single metal cabinet has the janitors keys in it. take them - you can now open the padlocks and leave the station.

DOCKS & ALLEY

Go right to the docks. there is a save point, and also a coin on a bench. (you use the coins to call people - don't spend any on the binocular things on the docs).

Turn around (your back to the savepoint) and walk to the path you came from, to your right, just as you leave the docks, there are a pair of pliers on the ground - take them.

Go back to the station entry, but continue past it, and you'll see a key on the ground. take it. walking further you'll hear static and crying/laughing, the static means there is something supernatural whatever - but for now ignore it. Look in the trashcan with the blood around it, there is half a rat. remember that!

And then continue forth. When you round the corner you get a weird ass cutscene, and something falls from the sky. Don't be an idiot like me, and go investigate that corpse right away, you will find the hospital key card - take it

Standing with your back to the corpse, you see 3 doors. They are all locked, but you can open the one on your right, with the key you just picked up. Inside you find a note that says 02.30 and a key & coin, pick them up.

The key goes to the other door (which is now to your left, when you exit to the alley), go there, and you find a weird note (remember this note), and a clock. Set the clock to 02:30 - you will then get a key

That key will open the last door at the end of the alley. Once you do - you get another strange cutscene. At the end of the alley, there is a sign saying HOSPITAL, the door to your right is locked, so go left and use the keycard to open the hospital.

HOSPITAL

When you enter walk to the reception, there are a key and a coin. pick it up. Go right, (the first door called B007) and go to the end of the corridor, you can use the pliers to remove all the plywood or whatever that is. You have to do that a couple of times untill you are infront of a door. It unlocks with the key you just found. (if you go left there is a savepoint at the end of the hall, and a bunch of locked doors)

If you go Right you find a elevator that doesn't work yet. So go left and open the doors at the end to find yourself outside on the roof. Go Right and use the lift. Once up one floor, you go left and follow the building, and unto the plywood path, go down into the bottom and YES that is apparently a bunch of dead people there - but pick up the key you see and go back up the ramp. at the buildings corner, you can go straight out and back to the elevator, or you can turn right - turn right and climb the ladder at the end of the other plywood path, bridge - whatever... scaffolding.

Up on the roof, there is a note, go read it. And a tv - you will find a videotape #1 there, watch it. And then facing the tv, go left to find another ladder to climb down.

Down there you find a note on a desk, a locked door, and another plywood path behind you. If you use the plywood path, you will find videotape #3 at the end, and then double back and enter the door, that will open with a key you already have. On the other side of the door is another ladder, climb it to get to another roof section - there is only a chair and a videotape, this is videotape #2, take it. And then return to the TV to watch the two tapes.

Once done watching the third tape, the entity creeping up on us, left us a key (aw isn't that nice) - pick it up. This is hospital key B, which means you can now open all doors called something with B. Go do that.

You'll find some green herbs, and I can't figure out what they are used for, so maybe it's just an Resident Evil easter egg? Most the rooms have nothing in them. in B003 you find a floppy disc, take it, then return to the computer to hear some game music, there is an achievement for it. Way at the end in B001 (next to the savepoint) you will find a note on the wall, and a coin, matches and a rats head, on the desk - pick them up - Hear that static? yeah remember we heard that before ... yep we need to go back to the trashcan with the rat body in it. (if it's hard to read the note, it says someone came there and claimed that a demonic rat was out to get him, he had the head and warned people not to put it back together again, which is exactly what we are gonna do - cause why not)

ALLEY & OTHER SIDE OF HOSPITAL

So click the bloody trashcan, and you'll hear a scream, and there is a bloody path to the door where you heard laughing before. It's now open. Find the door with the welcome mat, enter. There you find Kerosene, a note & the key to the elevator. Exit and continue down the corridor. at the end there is the elevator, that will take you back up to the first floor of the hospital (where we couldn't use the elevator before).

HOSPITAL

Now go down to where we saw the burned bodies, and burn them once more (just click them) and once they are burned, you'll find a key where the bodies were. pick it up - this is hospital C key, and you can now open that pesky C door.

Inside the C001 room (same place as all the B-doors) you find a book, this is the Cordovia key for some reason. Inside it there are some weird symbols - same symbols as where the clock was in the Alley - so now we go there

ALLEY

Decipher the code on the wall using the Cordovia key - it says 11:45 TO GO TO HELL (original huh?) - and then set the clock to 11:45 - and you'll get a red key. This goes to the door opposite the hospital door (remember the locked door to the right in the Alley?) Go there!

PARK

You will find yourself in a park, there is basically nothing there, besides the exit to the highway, a graveyard with the dev and his friends names on them, and the entry to the sewers.. oh yeah we got sewers! And if you thought the game was confusing now? just wait.

So you just follow the path straight ahead untill you get to a gate, click it and a dog will come and give you a key (don't question it). And so you return to where you entered the park. Facing the door, to your right is a payphone, and to your left a little path that follows the building. Follow that path around and find the sewer entry. the key you got from the dog, works here.

SAVE YOUR DAMN GAME HERE! GO BACK TO THE HOSPITAL TO SAVE - CAUSE FUCK THESE SEWERS! (basically it's cause if you quit, or the game crashes, you gotta do it all over again).

SEWERS

When you enter, you see two keys, you can't get to either. You also see a flashlight, pick it up (you'll lose it again for some reason later). And then follow the path and turn right the first chance you get. THIS PLACE IS A MAZE, SO I WILL DO MY BEST EXPLAINING OKAY? so follow that path and you'll get to some chains hanging down, move past them and find a note stuck to a metal plate, read the note (write it down actually cause you need it for a puzzle), and then jump up on the left side of the metal plate and you can shimmy past it (took me like over an hour to figure out, I shit you not) - and then continue straight ahead. past the chains, the first time you can turn right (to a dead end) there is a yellow button on the wall - click it, and return to the main path and continue on your way. At the end of the concrete tube there is a lever, pull it - and return to where you clicked the button. there is now a little bridge with a door on the other side. Enter this room, let's call that the MACHINE ROOM.

In here you need to look at the open cabinets, there is both a yellow button that you need to click, but there is also a key hanging, that you need to pick up. Then investigate the furnace, and well we need a key for it.

Now return ALL the way back to where you found the flashlight. And continue straight ahead. So walk across the "open space" and chose the next path going right. At the end of that there is a door, enter. And on the other side, there is a path going left, and one going straight out. Chose the one going straight out, and use your key to open to the MANAGEMENT OFFICE.

In there you will straight away see a yellow button - click it. and on the desk is a note (the only actual creepy thing in this game, I wish he had made that game instead), and a coin, read the note, pick up the coin. There is also a safe, but we don't know the code (actually I never figured out the code and had to use another walkthrough - oh well).

Return to where you entered this area, and chose the other path we saw when entering, this will take you to some sort of TURBINE ROOM, where you see a ladder on the path that we can't use yet, and a circular room with a hatch in the middle, click it to find yourself down in a room with a lever and some uhm.. cordinates? numbers? Now the gist of this shit puzzle is that you, using the note you saw about North, South, West and East - should move the walls with the lever, and get the numbers. I can tell you that North is the one with red numbers, if you want to try it out. I gave up. Then line up the numbers accordingly, and go back to the safe in the machine room, and punch them into the safe (which is ridicolous using a keyboard). the code is 515111151515551515 - the safe gives you the generator key.

So go to the Machine room, and use the key on the generator, it's now running.

Then return to the turbine room, and the sludge is pumped from the sides of the path we used to get to the circular room, and you can decend the ladder. Do that! halfway down (there is a landing), there is a crank, turn it. and then continue down the ladder (other side of landing) - to reach the bottom. Now you might have to look around but at the far end, on the back side of a huge tube - there is a yellow button that you need to click. And you can now go back up to the "main path" = the path you found the flashlight on.

Once back at the main path, then turn right, and go past the door, and to the end and see a ladder. Decend the ladder and there you'll find the lights I mentioned, they are all red now, and you can open the door. On the other side of this door, is another ladder, climb it up to get to the other side of the sludge canal that seperated you from the key in the beginning.

Follow the path all the way around, and you'll find yourself on the opposite side of where you entered the sewers. Pick up the key, and a crank. Turn around and open the door next to you. There is a savepoint. SAVE! so you don't have to do this all over again! (seriously my game crashed like 2 times in the sewers).

Follow the path all the way back to where the ladder is. And when you're almost there, there is a window that you probably saw when you walked past it before. But now you have to watch some absolutely pointless cutscene (yep, yet another one of those). before you can continue. So go back to the other side of the sludge canal, and remember the door next to the ladder up there? yes? well that is where you need to go. And the key you found can open it. (the door between the ladder and the path down to the management & turbine area)

There is nothing in there besides some pipes, but on the middle pipe there is a knob. click it to use the crank, and drain the sludge canal.

NOW! this is one of those annoying moments in this game, cause you can't enter the empty canal from this side - you have to return to the other side (down the ladder) and walk all the way back to where you picked up the key and crank, to decend the steps, to pick up that other key. And you might have to jump both up and down them - cause dear Michael here is super curb & step challenged for some reason. Anyways, pick up the key, and you can now actually use the steps on the other side, to return to the ladder where you entered the sewers, click them two times to escape the sewers. And for the future, you can use both sets of steps. I would advise you to save before leaving the sewers, mostly because the savepoint is right next to you. Exit the sewers, and return to the gate where the dog gave you the key.

HIGHWAY PASSAGE

You can now open the gate, and find yourself in some nature, walk a little and find a flashlight (so we lost the other, and gained this - which we'll also lose in a moment). Just continue straight ahead untill you make it to the highway. When you get there, to your right is another gate that you can't open (leading to the actual highway). And to your left is just road, so turn left - and get yet another LOUD cutscene, with rubber man threathening you in RL (4th wall breaking and all).

SEE I THOUGHT THE GAME ENDED HERE - I WAS SUPER READY FOR THE GAME TO END - BUT IT DID NOT.

UNDERGROUND

When we wake it's pitch black, click your mouse untill you can see. And you find yourself in another underground space (I don't know what to call it), and we lost both flashlights, and it's almost fucking impossible to see what you're doing - This is the Cordovia off brand version of Silent Hill (deeper sigh)

So turn around and you see a path forth and a path to the right, go right. and then you again see a path going right and left, go left. You might think the game is broken, but noooo you're suppose to walk for fucking ever.

At the end of the 1000 kilometer underground path, you find a room, there is a payphone, and on bottom wall (it's super dark) there is a crank on a pipe, take the crank. Exit back where you entered the room, but instead of going back the long path you used to get there, turn right, and cross to the other side. There is also a path left and right. First go right and there is some buttons click it and get the message you used the crank, and the return to the left side, and click the other panel, and get a message that you used the crank (in my game I had an invisi crank, so I had no clue if I did it right, since I can't see any inventory - but apparently I did) and you restored power (wish they had some bloody light down there tbh).

Alright now you need to return down the 1000 kilometer long path, to where you entered. (you can cross the first time you can turn right, but there is absolutely nothing there, so don't bother) - just pass the option and continue straight ahead. At the end you get to a ladder (probably where we entered?) But you can't open it, and never will, so leave it. I do however think you need to go there and click it to prompt opening a wall. So after you clicked the ladder/manhole (I will never be mature enough to type that and not giggle), backtrack where you came from, (and as I said, suck it up son, cause the flashlight is gone). All the way back to where you found the crank, but now you can pass the room, (as in the wall opposide where you enter the room, opened up) and there is a lift. use it.

CORRUPTED TRAIN STATION

When you exit you see a door, you can't open it yet. Also that weird white mesh part on the train car, is a door - it's hard to tell, but then again, everything here is hard to see what is, cause dark=scary - not.

So follow the train car, there is 3 numbers in the open lockers, note them down. (I couldn't figure this puzzle out, cause I apparently missed a number combo, so I can give you the answer, but I simply don't know where the last number is) and then continue down the train, till you come to a dead end, and there is a key, this is subway key #1 (apparently some sort of mirror?) anyways when you pick up this key, the key on the other side of the mesh dissappears too. Who cares. Go back to the weird mesh door to the traincar (basically where you spawned) and open that door with your key.

It's super dark inside, but you see a sign with numbers on, laying on the floor, this is the second combo (as I said, I don't know where the third is). And if you walk straight ahead in the car, you see what i thought was binbags, but it is a corpse of the elderly lady in the train at the beginning - she has a key, take it.

Return to the door outside, and you can open that one now. I hate this fucking room. seriously. Oh well, upon entering you see a note on the desk and a generator key, take the key, read the note. The note tells you now to get the correct code for the numberpad, you need to multiply the numbers you found. On the wall behind you, you can see a yellow button like those in the sewers, but it has a numbpad - this is the code we need. Ignore it for now, and turn left and go to the very end of the room, you can see two white lines in the floor, they lead you to the generator. You can't start it though. Also you can't turn the wooden cranks for the pipes with A, B and C on them, yet. So follow the other white line in the floor (to your right if you have your back to the generator). and at the end of that little hidden corridor, there is a lever. pull it and return to the numbpad with the yellow button. It's time to enter the code that we dont' have hahaha Thanks to another walkthrough, I do have it. The code is 2423148 - and now the generator has power, go turn it on.

When you turned on the generator, do yourself a favor (that I was advised to from that walkthrough I found, and trust me they were right, so I am advising you to do the same) - BEFORE you leave this room, make sure you click the wooden cranks for the ABC pipes, just click them. This will save you a lot of walking back and forth!

When you did that, turn around and go straight through the room (pass the desk), and at the far end, where there were just darkness before, there is now a plank bridge across the sludge. Cross it and just go straigh ahead, follow the plywood bridge stuff, and at the end there is a key. this is subway key #2 take it.

Return to the train car, and shimmy past the corpse of the lady (you couldn't do that before you took the key, but you can now), and down to the door at the end, use your key to open it.

You will enter a super strange area, there is nothing to the sides, so don't bother (unless you want to make a call, there is a payphone there). Just go straight for the computer that is showing static. continue past it, and you'll see a ladder going down with a huge A on it, decend the ladder, and pull the lever at the bottom. then return up.

With your front to the A-ladder, turn right, and you'll see a B on a pillar, then go there and continue till you see another train car - admitted it's super hard to see it's a train car, but it is (a rust colored wall, okay?) and there is an openening, it's like PITCH black, and I thought it was a hole, but it is not - so go through that opening and traverse the black - floor?

Now this is important, cause this turned me around something fierce. When entering this traincar, There is an opening opposite where you entered, there is a plywood path right outside it. And there is an opening at the end of the traincar (to your left, if you just entered), remember that!! - turning right you can see a key next to a chair on the other side of some chicken wire. So for now though, chose the opposite opening, and follow the plywood path to the other side of the chicken wire. Pick up the key, this is subway key #3

So now, return to the car where you entered, and chose the other opening, the one opposite the chickenwire, at the bottom of the car. Once outside follow the plywood path to your left (you can't go right, so it's really that easy). I swear I was stuck here for fucking eternity, it doesn't help that you can't see shit. So follow the plywood path, turn right on the concrete path, and then turn right again and use the super slim plywood path around. Open the door - and you'll see a huge C

To your left is a deep hole, where the ladder is on the other side. So turn Right and follow the plywood to the other side of the sludge, there you'll find an elevator. use it!

GALLERY

For reasons unknown, we are now in some fucked gallery. When you leave your spawning point, note there is a plaque with a horse. and follow the path around, So this area is a little strange. When you turn the corner, you'll see paintings on the wall, a path left, and a path straight ahead, the path straight ahead ends blind, but there is a bucket - remember that! start with clicking the paintings, some have a metal thing on the back, you need two metal parts. There are pantings both on the path with the bucket, but also if you cross to the other side, using the path that turns left, there are more paintings. When you found two metal pieces, you go to the bucket, and click it. For some reason you need to lower them in the sludge - don't ask. Once you "cleaned" both parts, return to the horse plaque and click it, to insert your metal parts.

CALEB

So turn around and go back towards where you spawned (away from the gallery), and you'll see a huge door opened on your left. enter the room. it's stupid dark, but make your way to the far end, and there are some notes from Caleb, read them. As soon as you did - you get a cutscene, and well it's a little hard knowing when it ends, and you're in control again, so roughly when Michael makes it to the stairs in the cutscene, you are in control again. I did include a death in my video, just to show you. But now you gotta dodge the rubber monster thing, which isn't hard btw, and go for the orange savepoint, hurry up and load CALEBS SAVE (thanks Caleb), and we are now Caleb? I don't know man, but we can now leave this room. On your way out, there is a key on the steps, take it.

And guess where we are?! The freaking sewers! Again. Now don't be an idiot like me, and just follow the path around to where you can cross the drained sludge stream, and save your game inside that room.

BECAUSE YOU NEED TO SAVE YOUR GAME AND RETURN TO BEING MICHAEL, BEFORE YOU CAN OPEN THE DAMN HIGHWAY GATE!

Once you saved, exit the sewers and go straight for the highway, remeber that gate we couldn't open? Yeah we can open that now, and we even get if not the most super confusing cutscene of this game to boot. Once the gate is open, go through it.

- You can also turn left first, and go to the dead end (where the monster blocked our way the first time we were here), there is a dead body and a note - the note is a map - but it's never used, so I don't know, man. cut content?

WAIT A MINUTE? COULD THE NUMBERS ON CALEBS SAVE, BE THE LAST NUMBERCODE FOR THE DAMN MULTIPLY PUZZLE? I THINK THAT WOULD BE VERY LIKELY (sorry i just realised it right now.. ahahah)

HIGHWAY

Follow the road on the right side, you'll see some skidmarks, follow them to the field and you'll see a snow plow, click around on it, and learn we need a key and some gasoline. Then return to the road and continue. At some point we see a bus stranded, it has no reason to be there, apart from a landmark. so continue on untill you hit a dead end. There is a small house, it has women and mens toilets, and a utility room in the middle (that's not normal, is it?) and a payphone if you want.

REST STOP

click the utility room door, and pick up gasoline inside (using the key you picked up as caleb), and then you can go to the womens toilet and read a creepy note, and then go to the mens toilet and at the far end, look inside the toilet, and find a key. (Where is Chris?) this is the key for the snowplow. So return to the snow plow (yes this game takes the walking simulator stuff quite litteral)

HIGHWAY

So at the snowplow, use the gasoline, and click the button on the other side, and then use the key. Drive the snowplow BACK to the freaking rest stop, but continue driving into the whatever blocks the road, snow? stones? sludge? fucked if I know. And we now have a new path. Follow it.

You walk for freaking ever, and eventually you'll see a sign that says HELL, somewere after that, there is a very hard to see path to your right, sliding down the side of the mountain, to another highway.

Once at the other highway, turn left (it's all you actually CAN do) and walk till you see a road stop, you can shimmy around the DEAD END sign and you're back at the docks.

CORRUPTED DOCKS

Damn this badly made silent hill shit. Oh well. we're almost there.

The docks here are made of a main square. At entry point, to your right is a parking lot, nothing there. Straight ahead there are some concrete traffic control thingies, and on the other side some benches, and a path - to your left is a boat (this is the boat you'll use if you want to go back after this, and access the hidden areas, which I did not, so you'll have to find a different walkthrough for that, I just want this game to fucking END!) So go pick up the coin turn to see the large sign, next to that, is the stairs to the docks, go save your game.

Here the docks is a bridge, so if you're facing the savepoint, behind you is a boat (that will take you to Hell, and end this freaking game), and also of course to your right would be the other side of the river.

But for now go back to the benches, and continue down what looks like a path, on the other side of the large sign, there you'll find a cabin (again, don't ask). We can't enter yet.

But turn left when you stand there and look at the cabin, and you'll see a little ball on the ground, this is a nut - we need 3 nuts (bonus info, my ex husband always accused me of collecting nuts, when I played computer games, and this is the first game I recall playing, where I am ACTUALLY looking for nuts. And we married in 2006) So we have the first nut, and again, because this is a action triggered game you can do either

1- shimmy through on the right side of the cabin, and follow whtever path there, and find a nut.

2- cross the bridge, and go past the axe, and continue out the path to the dead end, and find a nut there.

You can't pick the nut up next to the axe, before you have two in your inventory. And if you pick up all 4, it whatever last one is named "error". I chose to shimmy down the side of the cabin and collect the nut there. and then cross the bridge.

OTHER BANK

There you'll see some picknick tables to your right, an axe straight ahead, and a nut on the ground next to it. Pick up the nut, and use them on the axe, you need to click the axe 3 times, to split all 3 nuts, to get moonstones (LSD anyone?) - Once you have the 3 moonstones, go to the bank next to the picknick tables, where there is blood, the strange blob there at the waters edge, is a suitcase. It took me embarassingly long to figure out, and it doesn't help that you can't freaking see anything. But I could have trusted the static I suppose. So click the water, and it will tell you to place your moonstones inside the suitcase, click again, and you place one. Do this untill you get the cabin key.

CABIN

Return to the cabin, and enter. All there is in there are oars. But funny it's what we need.

CHOICE.

Now either go back to the parking lot and use the boat back to Cordovia to find the hidden areas and secrets - or do like me, who at this point was ready to jump infront of a moving train! go to the docks, and click the boat there, opposite the savepoint.

Watch the end.

PS: what the hell IS up with that dog, is it me or does it look all wrong, like it's nose is curled in on itself? and it's just an intro?`wait for the next? no thank you. I think I'll stick to "game explained" youtube for that. ahhaha
