First up is Ludwigs letter, you can click it, but then it just opens up so you can read it, no matter what the fuck you do, you just open the letter. I eventually found that if you drag while clicking, you can drag it to the computer and analyse it, and then use the lighter on it to read the whole thing. Seriously I almost rage quit because of this.
And when you google it, you just find a bunch of people asking how to analyse Ludwigs letter, but no answer. So this tells me this is a common enough hurdle that I wanted to include it here.
And this... this gave me greys. Well, more than I already have at least. So... You solve the circle puzzle where you stick the fossil in the middle, and the arrow guides you to the wall next to the waterfall, there you find a puzzle that is carved into the wall. This is a puzzle that you can't solve yet, but no matter what you try, the game redirects you to this fucking wall.
Eventually I found out that there is this little odd looking stone on the cliff wall (the red circle), it does not shimmer, and so you'd not think it was a place of interest right off the bat. However, click this odd looking stone, and then use the spray you found in the throne room, and the blank paper to make a map, wait while there is a dialogue between the main character and Wolfgang, and then...
If you click where the game directs you, which is still at the wall next to the damn waterfall, you'll just see the puzzle you can't solve yet. But if you open the map, you can see there is now an extra scene called 'FOREST', and click that and progress.
I did not take screenshots, but the same thing (in a roundabout way) happened in the castle, because I kept getting told the wall next to the large painting on the first floor, you know next to the door to your bedroom, was of interest - but not right now.
However I at some point did something, not sure what, - which had the study pop up as an extra scene adjacent to the entry hall. I couldn't enter the study in any other way than to use the map, - but after I went there once, I could enter from the hall.
I can't say if it's a error or not, but there you have it.
And just because I was kinda surprised to get a slightly graphic image of the dead munk, I felt I wanted to share it one more time with you.
